Description

Along the water, pure and wild landscapes

The group consists of 8 people maximum + the guide.
Starting from the small island of Sommarøy, on the west coast of Kvaløya, the 69Nord team invites you to explore a beautiful region protected from the offshore swell by barrier islands and islets with turquoise waters. At the edge of the fjords and the open sea, it is the domain of otters, puffins and fish eagles. The white sandy beaches give a curious tropical touch to these steep and wild landscapes.
The possibilities of hiking and bivouacs from well-protected shelters are vast and allow off-track hiking on slopes ranging from 100 to 800 meters. There is something for all tastes and all levels. The walks are based on the overall group level. Walks are suited to meet everyone’s preference. Our trips are not made for extremists.

24-hour daylight in summer until the end of August. Midnight sun from May 22nd  to July 22nd.
