Well-being, a huge program!
The reasons why someone seeks wellness support are extremely varied: work, family, searching for meaning, gaining perspective, managing emotions, the need to rebuild oneself, finding one’s path, handling transitions, managing time, stress, and associated physical pains, burnout or boreout, regaining vitality, sleep, self-confidence, and so on, and so on. This list could potentially go on forever… All these reasons, as diverse as they are, share one common thread towards well-being: breathing. On average, we breathe 20,000 times a day, and very few people truly pay attention to their breathing, which is most often disrupted by the fast pace of our modern world.
This isn’t a miracle cure, but in our view, it’s a necessary prerequisite before going any further. It’s also worth noting that functional breathing can help improve functional conditions like asthma, sleep apnea, or sleep disorders.
That’s why we’ve decided to open our breathing school, which is open to everyone and based on the work of Dr. Konstantin Buteyko and Patrick McKeown, who created ‘Oxygen Advantage’ and ‘Buteyko Clinic International’.
Our classes cover the body’s natural anatomical and physiological functions to optimize air flow to the lungs, gas exchange between the pulmonary alveoli and our circulatory system, the optimal supply of fuel to our cells, and the regulation of the autonomic nervous system. Positive results from taking control of your breathing can be seen quickly. The process of re-educating the entire breathing pattern can, however, take several months.
Our base camp with our eco-lodge “Båthuset” is located in an environment perfect for recharging your batteries and offers simple, refreshing comfort. It’s in this natural setting that we welcome our clients.
Feel free to get in touch. Sessions are possible online and soon face to face.
