The Sommarøy archipelago is a natural wonder that spontaneously awakens the souls of explorers.

The island of Sommarøy is located on the west coast of Kvaløya, 52 km from the centre of Tromsø. It is in the heart of this fortress of islands and coral reefs that the 69Nord team invites you to take a breath of fresh air. Embark a few hours for a navigation in turquoise waters, a slide protected from the swell, at the edge of the fjords and the sea, habitat of otters, puffins, fishing eagles and white-tailed eagles.
Beginners accepted.
Children accompanied by an adult are accepted from 10 years old

The price includes:
The coaching, Hobie sailing kayak or Hobie touring kayak, dry suit if needed, life jacket, waterproof bag, insurance-related sailyak activity.
The price does not include:
The picnic, transport to and from Sommarøy*, personal insurance.
IMPORTANT: If you have reserved a guided activity with payment upon arrival and you change your plans, please let us know at least two hours before the start time out of respect for the guide who prepares the equipment for the outing. *: A private bus solution exists in the summer every day from Tromsø down town (journey time 1 hour 15 minutes, price 520 nok/pers/round trip)
Outbound Tromsø down town / Sommarøy: the departure is at 8:45 am from the Scandic Ishavhotel (Tromsø Center) and the arrival at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel is 900 meters from our base.
Return to Sommarøy Arctic Hotel / Tromsø center: departure is at 19:10 from Sommarøy Arctic Hotel and arrival at Scandic Ishavhotel.
