Guided outing in a Hobie kayak
Departure possible every day at 9 PM
from June 19 to August 15, maximum 10 people.

Admiring the midnight sun from a stable, easy-to-use kayak while gliding silently just above the water offers a unique opportunity to observe wildlife without disturbing it; especially seabirds and migratory birds nesting on the deserted islands of the archipelago. These are suspended moments, out of time, perfect for contemplation.
The kayaking area is protected from the open sea swell by a reef barrier with turquoise waters. This is the domain of otters, puffins, and eagles, which you might be lucky enough to spot.

Schedule: from 9 PM to midnight
Beginners welcome.
Children accompanied by an adult are accepted from age 10.

In Sommarøy, the sun can be seen at midnight from May 19 to July 26.

The price includes:
Guidance, a Hobie kayak, a life jacket, a dry bag, insurance related to the sit-on-top kayaking activity.
The price does not include:
Transportation to Sommarøy, personal insurance.

NOTE:
Our Hobie kayaks come with comfortable seats, an especially efficient pedal drive, and an intuitive steering system that lets you dive into adventure without any paddling experience. However, for those who want to paddle, our kayaks are equipped with both propulsion systems. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy an activity with family or friends, regardless of everyone’s skill level. Our double Hobie kayaks can be fitted with small extra floats, ensuring perfect stability of the boat. This gear is highly appreciated by parents taking young children along and also reassures other adults who aren’t regular paddlers.

CLOTHING:
Bring the clothes you would wear for a hike. Choose pants that you can roll up to mid-calf. We can lend you a 30L waterproof bag for extra stuff if needed.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION:
Please note that your booking will be confirmed once we receive your payment. If you haven’t paid in advance, you can still join the outing on the day and pay by card on-site.
