The island of Sommarøy, the jewel of northern Norway, offers an enchanting setting between fjords and ocean. Located just 50 km from Tromsø, nicknamed the “Little Paris of the North”, it is ideal for contemplating the Northern Lights or the midnight sun. It is a place where the sky dances and the horizon seems infinite, with the only neighbours to the west being the shores of Greenland.
Being located on the wild coast is a great addition to Northern Lights viewing. When the weather is good, all observation posts are equal or almost, but if the weather is acting up, it is better to be in a corner where the offshore wind sweeps away the clouds more easily.
The original volumes have been respected to maintain energy sufficiency, which is more necessary than ever in cold regions and in times of climate change. The insulation, which is particularly careful, also contributes to the sufficiency of the building, as do the fifty-eight other points on which we have focused in order to be able to live comfortably while limiting its footprint on nature as much as possible.
